I loved this relaxation exercise and I was able to use my daughter's MAC lap top with her really good ear buds lying down in the dark at 3am! I really got into it and loved the idea of the spectrum of lights. I just melted into the sofa. I could get use to doing one of these daily! Losing my job has my mental status shaky and I am working hard on keeping an even keel. My thoughts keep wandering to "what if"...my car will be repossessed, homeless, etc....So something like this relaxation exercise was welcomed.

Hi Cindy! I'm sorry to hear about losing your job. I have gone through times of unemployment and I can understand how stressful and unsure you can feel. I'm glad to hear you are using these exercises to the fullest to help with your stress!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy, Sorry to hear about you job, I have gone through the same experience and then having my husband have cancer did not help the situation. I got through it with doing exercises like the one we did for class. Having family and friends around helps too. We learn to balance our outer life with our inner one. We are strong and we do prevail. You wil make it stay strong. The stress will lessen and balance will reclaim your life. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the stress in which you are now experiencing. Good job on keeping up with your schooling. stay motivated and try not to focus on the negative that is going on in your life right now. Keep striving tell there is nothing else you can do, and there is always something as long as you believe. No matter what try your hardest to keep a positive attitude good things will hopefully come your way and you will survive.
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteThis is my one of my favorite sayings; God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change----The courage to change the things I can----And the Wisdom to know the difference.
It sounds like you are being prepared for greater good :O)
I also loved this particular exercise, and plan on incorporating it into my daily regimen. Life is always going to happen, but you need to keep on moving forward. It is within life's challenges that amazing opportunities are born and we grow. With all the stress of losing a job, slow down and look the possibilities and challenges you will grow from. Send your beams of light out into the universe and the universe will respond. Best of luck to you.
