I found the meditation hard to concentrate on and my thoughts kept wandering. The music was very peaceful and I wish I could listen to with my good ear buds but my personal lap top is in the shop so I am borrowing my roommates for now! In the future I would love to listen to this as I lie down in quietness of my own bedroom. I need to learn how to quiet my mind as it is driving me crazy!  :(

  1. Hi Cindy,

It is great to hear that you are determined to quiet the mind and try the activity again.

    Keep up the fine reflection!

  3. Hi Cindy, I know what you mean about having a hard time to quiet the mind. I am the same way. Yet I too am determined to try harder to learn to take some time and focus on myself. I actually did a yoga class yesterday for the first time. It wasn't the greatest but I am going to try it again and see how it goes. Never hurts to try new things. :)

  4. hi cindy many times the relaxing music works, but when i got stress i go to the beach and i sit down in front of the water to hear the sound of the waves to transport my mind to all the good feelings.
    try it.

  5. Hi Cindy, I agree that it's a little difficult to quiet the mind but, it's very interesting how much we can learn about ourselves through self reflection and through just quiet or peaceful time all to ourselves. I hope that you can accomplish this.

  6. Hi Cindy,

I toatlly agree with you that it is hard to concentrate on what the speaker is telling you to do and quiet your mind. I too had a hard time not letting my thoughts wander. Best of luck in your future endevors of quieting your mind and focusing your thoughts at the task at hand:) With practice I know you can do it.

  8. Hi Cindy!

I think a lot of us are in the same boat. It is hard to quite the mind. It is just like I tell my daughter, don't get frustrated, keep practicing and it will just come to you. Just think how awesome it will feel to harness the power to control your thoughts and emotions. Good Luck!
